Bluewillow şirketi de yakında herpes için insanlı deneylere başlamayı planlıyor. Hayvanlar üzerinde yaptıkları testlerde bulaşıcılığı %92 oranında engellemeyi başarmış, 

Herpesi olan hayvanlarda da atak sıklığını ve bulaşıcılığı %50 oranında azaltmış. Yeni bir aşı çalışması daha geliyor.

In a prophylactic guinea pig study, the intranasal vaccine prevented genital herpes infection in 92 percent of animals vaccinated. Therapeutic study animals previously infected with genital herpes who received the BlueWillow vaccine reduced recurrent lesions and viral shedding by more than 50 percent compared to animals who received no treatment.[/size][/color]

We had finished our preclinical work in animals demonstrating the efficacy of our vaccine in treating and preventing genital herpes. We had shown also that the vaccine was capable of preventing virus shedding. Currently, we are working on funding this program to advance it into the clinic.
